Shift Solenoid "B" Performance/Stuck Off

Shift Solenoid 2 Performance Conditions

Engine running in gear with VSS signals received, then the PCM detected a mechanical fault in the shift solenoid 2 with the solenoid energized (the valve is stuck off)

DTC P0560 not set, not in Fuel Shut-off mode, engine speed over 500 rpm for 5 seconds, TFT sensor input over 68°F, VSS over 20 mph, then with throttle angle over 27%, the PCM detected an incorrect Transaxle Range Switch input or incorrect gear ratio

DTC P0122, P0123, P0502, P0503, P0740, P0742, P0753, P0758, P0785, P1810 and P1860 not set, engine speed over 450 rpm for 5 seconds, Fuel Cutoff inactive, VSS input more than 5 mph, throttle angle from 10-35%, throttle angle constant (± 7%), gear range is D4, TFT input from 68-266°F, 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4 shift solenoid and TCC commanded on by the VCM, then the VCM detected that the following conditions occurred three times • 3rd gear commanded on for 2-5 seconds, and speed ratio in 3rd gear does not drop more than 0.3 from last speed ratio in 2nd gear • The TCC slip speed in 3rd gear remains 300 rpm higher than the last TCC slip speed in 2nd gear • Within 2 seconds, the engine speed in 4th gear is 10 RPM greater than the last speed in 3rd gear Then with these conditions met, one of these conditions occurred Condition 1: With 1st gear commanded on for 2 seconds, the transmission output speed was 400-1500 rpm, the speed ratio was 0.5-3.0, and the TCC slip speed was -3000 to -100 rpm for one second Condition 2: With 4th gear commanded on for one second, the transmission output speed was 1400-2500 RPM, the speed ratio was 2.05 to 8, and the TCC slip speed was 1000 to 4000 RPM for 1 second • Refer to the correct code repair chart in other manuals or media
