Ignition Coil 3 Primary Circuit Conditions

System voltage over 8v cranking or over 12v with engine running, engine speed under 2016 rpm, Ignition Coil 2 not in dwell period during the test, then test started and PCM detected that the coil peak current was not achieved after 2 5 ms of dwell time (coil primary resistance is < 2 ohms) Inspect for arcing problems at coil terminals and towers. Refer to the code repair chart to repair this code Note This code takes up to 3 seconds to set during cranking, or up to 6 seconds during engine running

Engine running, then the PCM did not receive a valid IDM signal from the ignition module The PCM was able to identify that Coil 'C' failed
