Cause | Engine speed at 1400-4000 rpm, MAP sensor input less than 0.5v (23 kPa or 3 psi) for over 5 seconds, gear selector not in Park or Neutral on A/T models, then the PCM did not receive any VSS signals. The resistance of the VSS is 800-1600 ohms. iVote: The PCM will calculate the vehicle speed using engine speed and MAP sensor signals, but the speedometer will not work. |
